How to Use the Message Log

Learn how to use the Message Log to review all messages sent by your team, monitor chatter activity, and ensure quality and compliance.

The Message Log is an audit trail of all messages sent by your team through ChatBlue. It's useful for monitoring chatter activity, reviewing sent content, and ensuring quality and compliance.

Go to Message Log in the left navigation menu.

Each message entry displays:

  • Sender - The team member who sent the message

  • Account - Which ChatBlue account it was sent from

  • Fan - The recipient

  • Message - The message text content

  • Media - Number of media attachments (click to preview)

  • Sent Time - When the message was sent

  • Price - If the message included paid content (PPV)

  • Purchase Status - Whether paid content was purchased by the fan

Filters

Use filters to narrow down the message log:

  • Sender - Filter by specific team member

  • Price - Free messages, paid messages, or custom price range

  • Sent Time - Last hour, 24 hours, 7/30/90 days, or custom date range

  • Media Type - All messages, with media only, or without media only

  • Status - All, sent, or unsent (deleted) messages

  • Team - Current team only or all teams

  • Text Search - Search message content by keyword

Click "Reset Filters" to clear all filters and return to the default view.

Sorting

Click on column headers to sort by:

  • Message creation time

  • Price

  • Purchase status

Viewing Details

  • Click on a message to jump to the full conversation in Messages

  • Click media count to view attached images and videos in a full-size modal

  • Click fan name to open their conversation

Use Cases

  • Quality monitoring - Review messages sent by chatters to ensure brand consistency

  • Compliance - Verify that banned words aren't being used and content guidelines are followed

  • Performance review - See which chatters are most active and what content they're sending

  • Dispute resolution - Look up specific messages if a fan raises a concern
