Once your ChatBlue account is approved and your phone number is assigned, the next step is to create a Sell Number page. This is how fans discover and purchase access to text you - fans must initiate the first message, so sharing your Sell Number link is essential to start receiving conversations.

Why Set Up Sell Number First?

Chatters cannot send the first message to a fan. Fans need to reach out first by purchasing your number through a Sell Number page. Once a fan buys access and sends a message, the conversation appears in your Messages inbox and you can reply freely.

Creating a Sell Number Page

  1. Go to Sell Number in the left navigation menu

  2. Click "Create New Page"

You'll see a form on the left and a live preview on the right that updates as you make changes.

Page Details

  • URL - A unique link for this page. ChatBlue auto-generates one, or you can customize it (lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only). Your page URL will be: chatblue.com/{username}/{slug}

  • The first page you create automatically becomes your default page, accessible at chatblue.com/{username}

Appearance

  • Profile Picture - Upload a photo that represents the creator (selected from your Vault)

  • Cover Image - A banner image or video shown at the top of the page (JPG, PNG, or MP4)

  • Layout - Choose between Classic (with overlay options) or Banner (clean, simple)

    • In Classic mode, you can adjust Overlay Opacity and Background Color

  • Hide phone number - When enabled, the phone number stays hidden until after purchase. Fans see "Text me on iMessage" instead.

Pricing

  • Number Unlock Price - Set a price from $0 to $500 for fans to unlock your number

  • Discount Percentage - Optionally offer a discount (5% to 100%). The final price updates automatically and shows the original price with a strikethrough.

Communication

  • Title - The heading fans see on your page (default: "My Phone Number")

  • Description - A rich text description to sell the experience. ChatBlue provides a default template you can customize, or write your own.

After-Purchase Redirect Settings

Choose which messaging apps fans can use to contact you after purchasing:

  • iMessage - Enabled by default

  • WhatsApp - Enable if you want fans to reach you via WhatsApp

  • Telegram - Coming soon

You can set a default redirect so fans are directed to your preferred platform first. Toggle the star icon next to an option to make it the default.

Click "Show Success View" in the preview to see exactly what fans see after purchasing.

Saving and Publishing

  • Click Save to save your page as a draft

  • Click Publish to make the page live and accessible to fans

  • Click Make Default to set this page as your main Sell Number page (the one at chatblue.com/{username})

What Fans See

When a fan visits your Sell Number link, they see:

  1. Your cover image and profile photo

  2. Your title and description

  3. A message input where they can compose their first message to you

  4. The price to unlock (with any discount shown)

  5. A "Buy Now" button

After purchasing, fans are shown a success screen with buttons to message you directly via iMessage, WhatsApp, or Telegram (based on your redirect settings). Their pre-written message is automatically included.

Fans can pay using:

  • Saved credit/debit cards

  • Apple Pay or Google Pay (if available)

  • New card entry

Managing Multiple Pages

You can create multiple Sell Number pages - for example, different pages for different promotions or price points.

Your list page shows all your pages with:

  • Title and profile image

  • Price and Discount

  • Views - How many people visited the page

  • Unlocks - How many fans purchased access

Click any page to edit it, or click the link icon to copy the shareable URL.

Sharing Your Sell Number Link

Once your page is published, copy the link and share it everywhere:

  • Social media bios (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)

  • OnlyFans profile or posts

  • Direct messages to fans

  • Marketing campaigns

Remember: Fans must purchase your number and send the first message before you can reply. The more you share your Sell Number link, the more conversations you'll receive.
