The Shift Schedule feature simplifies assigning shifts to Creators and their assigned team members. Each shift can be fully customized with specific dates, times, and repetition rules, ensuring everyone knows exactly when and where they’re needed.
Whether you're managing daily coverage or setting up recurring weekly shifts, Shift Schedule gives you the flexibility and control to manage your team's availability effortlessly.
Accessing the Shift Schedule
Navigate to the Organization section in the left sidebar
Select "Shift Schedule" from the dropdown menu
Managing Shifts
You can filter the calendar view using the dropdowns at the top of the schedule:
Team Member: Filter by a specific team member
Creator: Filter by a specific creator
Month and Year: Choose the month you want to view
View Options:
Show Shifts Only
Show All
Show Creator Events Only
Creating a New Shift
Click the “Create Shift” button in the top right corner.
In the modal that appears, select the following:
Creator(s): Choose one or multiple creators this shift applies to.
Team Member: Assign the shift to a specific team member.
Quick Select Shift Times: Choose from preset options or set custom start and end times.
Timezone: Set the relevant timezone.
Repeat: Select “No repeat” for a one-time shift or “Weekly” for recurring shifts.
Click “Create Shift” to save.
Setting Up Recurring Shifts
While creating or editing a shift:
Under Repeat, choose “Weekly”
Select the days of the week the shift should repeat
Set an end condition:
Never: Repeats indefinitely
On: Ends on a specific date
Adding Shift Time (Quick Add)
Click the “Add Shift Time” button to quickly add a new shift directly from the calendar view, without opening the full shift creation modal.
Updating Shifts
Click on an existing shift from the calendar view.
Make the desired changes to the shift details.
For recurring shifts, choose how you'd like to apply the update:
Update only this occurrence: Change this instance only.
Update this and all future occurrences: Changes apply from this point forward.
Click “Update Shift” to save.
Deleting Shifts
Click on the shift you want to delete.
Click the red “Delete Shift” button at the bottom left.
For recurring shifts, choose an option:
Delete only this occurrence
Delete this and all future occurrences
Delete all occurrences
Click “Delete” to confirm.
When multiple shifts or events are scheduled on the same day, you’ll see a “+1 more” or “+2 more” indicator. Click on it to expand and view all scheduled items for that date.
