Written by FansMetric

Create promotions in FansMetric easily with the ability to automatically renew them upon expiration. Additionally, track and evaluate campaign performance to optimize your strategy.

Profile promotions enable you to offer discounted subscription rates to two key groups:

  • New Subscribers: Those who have never subscribed to your page.

  • Expired Subscribers: Those whose subscriptions have lapsed.

How Auto-Renew Creates Urgency

The auto-renew feature helps create a sense of urgency for potential subscribers by:

  • Making offers appear time-limited and exclusive

  • Automatically creating a new promotion when the current one expires

  • Maintaining the appearance of a limited-time offer while ensuring promotions stay active

When potential subscribers see a promotion with an expiration date, it encourages them to subscribe sooner rather than wait. Behind the scenes, auto-renew ensures there's always an active promotion, but subscribers only see the current "limited time" offer.

Creating a promotion campaign

  1. Click the "Create Promotion" button in the Profile Promotions section

  2. Select your target audience:

    • New subscribers (never subscribed before)

    • Expired subscribers (previous subscribers who have lapsed)

    • Both (applies to both new and expired subscribers)

  3. Choose your promotion type:

    • Free trial: Offer a free subscription period

    • First month discount: Offer a reduced subscription price

  4. Set your promotion parameters:

    • Offer limit: Choose how many subscribers can claim the promotion from the dropdown menu

    • Offer expiration: Set how long the promotion will be available from the dropdown menu

    • Free trial duration: If offering a free trial, specify the length by selecting from the dropdown menu

  5. Add a promotional message (optional):

    • Write a compelling message up to 500 characters

    • This message will be displayed to potential subscribers

  6. Review your settings and click "Create Promotion".

Note: There can only be one active campaign of the same type at the same time. Creating a new campaign for "New subscribers," "Expired subscribers," or both will result in existing campaigns being replaced.

Enabling Auto-Renew

With FansMetric, you can easily auto-reactivate your promotional campaigns when they expire, allowing you to run expiring promotions without the hassle of needing to renew them yourself. Promotions will auto renew within a few minutes of expiring.

  1. Navigate to the Marketing > Profile Promotions section

  2. Locate the "Auto-renew promotions" toggle switch

  3. Click the toggle to enable automatic renewal for all promotions

Additionally, set the offer expiration to set the number of days the campaign will last before expiring.

Note: Pre-existing profile promotions that were created directly in OnlyFans will be automatically tracked by FansMetric and will be auto-renewed.
